As their second season begins, Big Boys Geoff Schwartz and Dan Rubenstein take a look at the very short Week 0 slate (Nebraska vs. Illinois, UCLA vs. Hawaii, et al) and figure out how or if they should even feel anything about wagering on the mini-Saturday. They also look at some trends from the past few years against the spread and in the realm of over/unders, and determine why it is that certain programs like San Diego State, Cal, Auburn, Northwestern, and Michigan are unusually dependable when it comes to betting. Geoff also explains why he doesn’t go in Vegas pools or beaches multiple days in a row with his family.
