Here’s a weird fact: There are only three schools in FBS college football that use the old H-style goal posts. This specific style, which is common at lower levels of football, was phased out of the college game in the 60s when most schools followed the NFL’s lead and switched up to the T-style goal posts that have a singular vertical post holding up the apparatus.
