GAME PREVIEWS

(26:30) — Arizona (+14.5) vs. Oregon (Santa Clara, Calif. – PAC 12 Championship: Dan notes that Arizona has the best linebacker in the country in Scooby Wright, and Nick Wilson has been running well for the ‘Cats. Ty says that Oregon has been really good since losing to Arizona earlier in the season. Ty also notes that it’s possible that Rich Rodriguez may have something figured out in Oregon’s offense.

(31:20) — Alabama (-14.5) vs. Missouri (Atlanta – SEC Championship): Dan compares Missouri to how LSU, which gave Alabama fits, plays. The Tigers don’t need safety help against the run, noting Shane Ray and Markus Golden up front. Dan and Ty note how Alabama’s offense has been playing fairly well, and Amari Cooper may cause fits for Mizzou’s secondary.

(36:50) — Florida State (-4.5) vs. Georgia Tech (Charlotte, N.C. – ACC Championship): Dan and Ty discuss Georgia Tech’s triple option offense, and what that means for Florida State’s defense. Ty wants to see if the Yellow Jackets will be able to create turnovers on defense. Ty says Florida State has to start faster in this game. Dan points out how the Yellow Jackets dominate time of possession — third in the nation — and that they’re also tops in the country in offensive efficiency on third down.

(43:50) — Wisconsin (-4) vs. Ohio State (Indianapolis, Ind. – Big 10 Championship): Chris the Capper makes his pick in this game. Dan and Ty discuss the impact of JT Barrett’s injury, prompting Cardale Jones to start for the Buckeyes. Dan is positive that Wisconsin’s defense is better than Ohio State’s. He also believes Melvin Gordon will have some running room for the Badgers. Ty believes that Wisconsin is not good enough to pull away from the Buckeyes.

(50:30) — Kansas State (+8.5) at Baylor: Dan says the Wildcats need to run better than they did against West Virginia. He thinks that K-State should do a good job of limiting the big plays. Ty says he trusts in Bill Snyder and his coaching staff.
