Ty and Dan answer e-mail and Facebook questions while reading off the turbulent tales of Verballers who had bad dating experiences at college football-related events.

Today on The Solid Verbal, Ty and Dan solicit college football-related dating stories and open up the inbox to pull out listener questions.
The guys lead off with Ty gushing about Nic Cage and the discovery of a subreddit completely devoted to his favorite movie star.
They then get into a story sent in from this college football scribe about a tailgating date gone wrong at a Maryland football game.
Scanning the inbox, a UCLA fan writes in to say that his favorite thing to do while tailgating with his buddies is the Saturday crossword and playing Cribbage. He then asks Dan and Ty what are their favorite tailgating activities?
Next up is a breakdown of why the University of Southern California is so commonly referred to as USC, while the University of South Carolina is not. The listener cites a longer history both academically and in football, but the boys refute.
A listener writes in to fuel Ty’s “Message Board Madness” idea with a bizarre thread on an Iowa State board, basically serving the same purpose as a “missed connections” post on Craigslist. They then go into a discussion on when is it appropriate to take creeper shots or if it’s best to just approach the person for a picture.
The guys continue going through the inbox and pull out another pair of college football-related dating stories that touch on Indiana football and inappropriate drunkenness at a Georgia game.
Another listener floats this hypothetical: If you had a chance to score a date with Emma Stone, but you could only talk about your college hobbies, would Ty or Dan would score a date?
Guys then determine what programs Jay-Z and Pharrell would match up with personality-wise and how successful they could be given six years at the helm of their respective programs.
Another listener wants to know if there a real life equivalent to Kentucky currently owning the no. 1 recruiting class on 247Sports? Ty likens it to Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian and Dan compares it to Ryan Reynolds and Alanis Morissette.
Celebrity Hot Tub has a request for the guys to power rank their favorite Disney animated TV shows from the stable of “Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers,” “Gummi Bears,” “Darkwing Duck,” “Duck Tales” and “TaleSpin.” The conversation obviously shifts to power ranking candy.
The show rounds out with a discussion of their favorite Nic Cage movies. They agree on “The Rock” as his finest work and Ty wants a study done on the correlation between the money Cage’s movies make and the length of his hair.
