The Solid Verbal is a twice-weekly college football podcast started in 2008 by Ty Hildenbrandt and Dan Rubenstein. The show continues through the regular season, post-season, and off-season, because people don’t just watch college football, they live it.
Great Podcast as always. Glad to hear we also share a love for Whale Wars! I have been hooked on it since I first stumbled onto it. I have also seen The Cove and would highly recommend it, even though its depressing and disgusting. There is also a Sea Shepherd/Paul Watson documentary called Whale Warrior which is interesting. So far this season is pretty good and I'm revved up to go back the The Southern Ocean. Keep up the great CF commentary, and whatever other commentary, cause I'm enjoying all of it! jD
I have seen the first 2 episodes of Whale Wars that have aired. The Sea Shepherds are confronting the Faroese people for the hunting of pilot whales that are not on the endangered list. The Faroese have been hunting the whales for hundreds of years and continue to this day. I don't really find much wrong with what the Faroese people do. As they point out, it's not much different from us eating chicken or beef. There is a re-airing of the first 2 episodes May 6 at 11AM CT. Keep up the great podcast, I enjoy it.
Ty, Dan, (and WCK) Listening to the chatter about TV, none of you have seen Doomsday Preppers? Storage Wars, Schmorage Wars. Admittedly I stopped watching after 3 episodes because it's pretty much the same thing each time, but it's worth 3 episodes at least.
