The Solid Verbal is a twice-weekly college football podcast started in 2008 by Ty Hildenbrandt and Dan Rubenstein. The show continues through the regular season, post-season, and off-season, because people don’t just watch college football, they live it.

Correction, they did change the chant slightly. We would simply chant "Biiiiiig Balllllls" in a drawn out, almost Rock Chalk Jayhawk-like fashion.
Those damnable Oregon fans have ripped us off! I went to USC between '03 and '07, and during those glorious days we fans would frequently perform the large-round-weights-juggling dance you described seeing Oregon fans do when Chip Kelly called a risky play when Pete Carroll would do the same thing. We would also chant the glorious words "Big Balls Pete" over and over again at the top of our enraptured lungs. Did you guys never make it out to one of our games? I just it on record that my Trojans are the real originators of the Big Balls chant, one of the finest in all of college sports.
